The Opportunity:
We are looking for a Principal GNSS Scientist who is passionate about technology and excited about the goals of our company. You will join our GNSS team and help lead the research and development of our Supercorrelation technology. The role offers significant scope for professional development spanning the research, product and software engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Join the development team and actively contribute to the software lifecycle
- Take technical ownership of new research and development ideas
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Supercorrelation software and testing tools
- Generate clear technical results and communicate to internal and external stakeholders
- Propose, lead and participate in R&D initiatives aimed at enhancing our existing products and inspiring the next of our ground-breaking technologies
- Contribute to team planning
- Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers within the company
Your Experience
Essential
- Relevant academic or industrial experience
- In-depth knowledge of GNSS measurement engine signal processing
- Strong analysis skills in Matlab or similar
Desirable
- In-depth knowledge of the full GNSS signal-processing chain
- Source Control (eg. git)
- Synthetic aperture processing
- GNSS simulators
- Agile development
- Product development experience (requirements capture, test definition)
- Kalman filters and other probabilistic estimation techniques
- Multi-sensor fusion techniques, including tight and deep coupling for GNSS-INS
- RTK and/or PPP and/or multi-constellation positioning
- Multipath mitigation methods
