The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you are joining a lean, high-impact Operations department that serves as the functional backbone of the business.
While your daily tasks will range from physical facility management, trialling coordination and high-level business reporting, you are a critical part of a department that values efficiency, delivery frameworks, and continuous improvement.

As this role has onsite ownership of our Cambridge office, the role holder will be required to be office based, full time.
Key Responsibilities
Facilities
Onsite Ownership of Cambridge: Act as the primary point of contact for the Cambridge office, managing the daily "rhythm" (deliveries, room management, meeting preparations).
Sustenance: Organise and manage catering and in-office lunches offered to employees
Maintenance & Repairs: Coordinate reactive and proactive maintenance with external contractors
Safety: Ensure the site remains 100% Health & Safety compliant.
Security: Manage hub access protocols and alarm training for onsite staff to protect our physical and intellectual property.
Purchasing & Invoice Approvals: Manage purchasing across the business
Stock Control: Management of our facilities and employee stock (ordering, tracking, shipping)
Operations
Logistics & Shipping: Execute the packing and global shipping of hardware, navigating complex customs, duties, and international compliance.
Fleet Management: Where required, to ensure processes and guidance are followed to hire vehicles for trialling and other requirements.
Key Commercial Processes: Maintain, monitor and support execution of key cross-functional deliverables
Trialling Coordination: Gather requirements for trials, both in the UK and Internationally, in order to understand what is needed, by when
Reporting and Governance
Meeting Preparation: Ensuring the teams across the business have prepared for their regular meetings in advance and support any logistics as required
Data Collection & Reports: support data collection and reporting generation
About You
You are a team player. We are highly collaborative and communicative; working together to improve and keep the cogs turning
You are a confident communicator, able to communicate with a variety of people across the business
You are a master of lists, logs, and spreadsheets. You enjoy creating order out of chaos.
You don't wait for a leak to be reported or a deadline to be missed; you anticipate risks and implement systems to prevent them.
You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment where responsibilities can shift. You are happy to roll up your sleeves to pack a shipping crate one hour and build a performance spreadsheet the next.
Your Experience
You have 2-4 years of experience in an administrative role with transferable skills; administration, operations, facilities (Essential)
Experience with managing external vendors. (Desirable)
Process Implementation (Desirable)
As we are in a period of commercialisation, if you have worked at a start up in this phase before or a commercial environment we would love to hear from you. (Desirable)
UK Driving License (Desirable)
